Whole or Half Hog

Our feeder hogs are a cross between Berkshire and Duroc. They are rotationally grazed in the woods and fed a certified organic, soy free feed. They were born on our farm to mothers we raised from the time they were young. They haven’t been given MRNA. This is the cleanest pork you can buy! This is premium pork!

Hogs are sold by rail weight.  That means the weight they are when gutted and head off and skinned.

When you buy a whole or half hog, you are getting the best cuts at the same price per pound you would pay for sausage!

 Butcher fees are separate.  Their fee will depend on the cuts you get.  You are looking at anywhere from $150-$350.

Whole Hog: $7.50 per pound rail weight. 

You are looking at around 180lbs give or take.

                      A $350 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a hog.

Half Hog: $8.85 per pound rail weight.  You are looking at around 90lbs give or take.

                  A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a half hog.

Once your deposit has been paid, we will send you a receipt as well as the cut list and the date the hog will go to the butcher. 

 We require the cut list to be emailed back to us one week prior to the hog going to the butcher. If you need help, we will be glad to help you fill it out.

 Once your hog is at the butcher, you will get an email of the rail weight and remaining balance due. Once we have the butcher fee, we will contact you and let you know what you owe them.
